About Our Doctors

Dr. Thomas Stegemann

Practicing orthodontics since 1991, Dr. Thomas Stegemann received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania Dental School and attended West Virginia University, where he received his master’s degree in orthodontics.

Committed to continuing education, Dr. Stegemann maintains memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association and the Greater Portland Dental Society.

Dr. Jerome Shuman

Dr. Jerome Shuman attended Harvard University, where he received his Bachelor of Art’s degree and continued there at the School of Dental Medicine to receive his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree. He graduated from the University of Michigan with his Master of Science degree in orthodontics.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Shuman is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Maine Dental Association and the Greater Portland Dental Society. He is also a Clinical Instructor of orthodontics at Tufts University Dental School. In his leisure time, he enjoys sailing, playing golf and guitar, and singing.

Dr. Setareh Razzaghi

Dr. Setareh Razzaghi grew up in La Jolla, California. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of California at San Diego. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, and a Master of Science degree from the University of Washington Orthodontic program. Dr. Razzaghi has superior leadership skills and has extensive research and teaching experience at these institutions.

She listens well to patients and has a good understanding of human relationships. Dr. Razzaghi does all of this with a good sense of humor.
